When will my order ship?

·  Carbide Depot processes orders continuously - all throughout the day - on every US business day.
·  95% of items ordered will ship within 2 business days.
·  Ship days and locations will vary by brand as explained here. All of the manufacturers we represent, except Iscar, allow us to drop-ship from their warehouse direct to you. Iscar requires us to bring the products in to our warehouse where we repackage and ship to customers.
·  All throughout each business day we review the ship dates noted on the confirmations we receive from our suppliers. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will email you promptly to give you the option of waiting, substituting, or canceling.
·  Most items ship from a location other than the Carbide Depot warehouse, so it may not be necessary to select premium shipping. Consider the AVAILABILITY described for each item when determining how long it will take for a shipment to arrive your facility.

 

 

 

 

 

 

How can I track my package?

Carbide Depot sends emails every morning containing tracking information for all orders shipped the day prior. Also you can login to your account with your email address and password, and a list of your orders will be displayed. Click View Order beside any of the orders and the details of the order will be displayed, including the tracking number if it has shipped.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Do I have to pay with a credit card?

We only accept credit cards entered through our secure Website for payment. Our entire business system is built around the credit card transaction. We do not even have a way to enter an order without a credit card. This means that all of our customers share equally in the savings of Carbide Depot not having to maintain a staff of accounts receivable personnel and constantly track down slow paying accounts. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. We are not set up to accept COD orders because they cannot be facilitated on drop-shipments. Carbide Depot is not set up to sell on open account to any customer under any condition.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Do you have a catalog?

We do not offer print catalogs, which would be out of date within a short period of time because of the changing nature of our product offering. We do now provide Adobe PDF catalogs you can download from the following links (expect an extended download time):

Is your price per each item, or for the whole box?

All prices shown on the Carbide Depot Web site are the prices for each item, not the price for a whole box. For example, if you are shopping for an insert that shows to be priced at $5.00, and is sold in packs of 10, the cost of one box would be $50.00. If you place an order for the required minimum quantity of 10, the subtotal cost of your order would be $50.00, and you would receive one pack containing 10 inserts, not 10 boxes containing 10 each.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I received my order, but one item was missing. What happens now?

Occasionally on drop-ship orders our suppliers will ship a partial if they are out of stock on an item, and they will not note on the delivery ticket to show the backordered item. But if you received one of the items, it is most certain that the other item has been ordered for you and will ship to you as soon as it becomes available. Partial orders shipped from Carbide Depot will indicate all backorders and drop-shipments on the packing slip. If an item on your order is not in stock at Carbide Depot (usually a drop-ship item) when we place the order with our supplier, we receive acknowledgements that indicate shipping status. It is our policy to review supplier acknowledgements promptly and notify you of backorders that are expected to run a week or longer. On delayed orders we will offer a substitute, often from another brand, or give you the option of canceling your order and issuing a credit back to your card. Can I get you to fax me a copy of the invoice?

If your accounting department requires hard copies of your credit card purchases, please forward the Order Confirmation that is automatically emailed to the login email address to the appropriate person in your company. Or you can print a copy from your Internet browser after signing in to your Carbide Depot account online and clicking My (your name) Account at the very top right of the page. Your orders are listed below. Click the order number you want and click the Print Receipt button.

Because of the volume of orders we process each day, time does not allow us to print out and fax copies of documents we have already emailed you. Keeping our processes streamlined is one of the critical ways we can offer great prices every day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Do you ship orders outside of the United States?
  
Carbide Depot fulfills online orders for all international destinations serviced by UPS. We cannot drop-ship outside the US, so please allow an extra couple of days on your delivery for us to bring the material in to our warehouse. Our international shipping options are as follows:

Canada customers:
· UPS Express 1-2 day - $50 total shipping charge
· UPS Collect - enter your UPS account number and charges will be billed to your UPS account

All other countries:
· UPS Expedited 3-4 day only - $79.50 USD total shipping charge
· UPS Collect - enter your UPS account number and charges will be billed to your UPS account

Please also note that there may be taxes, duties, and other fees charged by your country's customs department which Carbide Depot is not responsible for.
